How Street Stylers Are Getting a Head Start on Fall 2017’s Biggest Trends
Today marks the official beginning of fall—although depending on where you are in the world, it might not feel like it. Here on the East Coast, we’re still experiencing 80-degree temps and dense humidity, which is made all the more frustrating by the blissful, unusually chilly New York Fashion Week we enjoyed just a week ago. That “sweater weather” tease gave us a chance to test-drive some of Fall ’17’s biggest trends, like futuristic metallics, head-to-toe crimson, and crafty patchwork, but stylish women in London and Milan are keeping it up. If they aren’t wearing a long-sleeved, Crayola-colored dress, they’re most likely in a rose-print frock, a relaxed suit, or, more curiously, a “no pants” ensemble, which we saw on the Fall runways of Marques Almeida and Saint Laurent. Turns out you really can wear that look IRL. See how women are pulling it off in the slideshow below, along with a few ways to wear Fall’s other defining runway trends.
